Kirk Karwoski "Raw" Meet Coverage

To follow up on the training footage from the other day, I am posting the meet coverage from the AAU meet in 2004. I'll post these in 3 different segments.

First are Kirk's 3 squats- he goes 749, 804, 826. He pulls his quad slightly on the 826 but still completes the lift.

It's  am awesome display of strength from the man Ed Coan called "The greatest squatter that ever lived"

I have had tons of positive feedback on the training footage, with most folks just commenting on how they miss and love the basic way that Kirk lifts and trains. And many people just were inspired by the intensity that Kirk brings to every attempt.  Wearing just a belt and crushing the weights like he does is awesome as hell and people recognize the pure animalistic nature of Kirk's mindset when he trains-all laser focus and desire. Thanks again to Kirk for sending me the DVD!

All About Being a Lifer

What's a Lifer? Someone who isn't in to something for just a day, a month, a year...it's for life. Whether its training or your family or your job...it doesn't matter. You work at it, you build on it, you see the big picture . You don't miss workouts because it means something to you. You are like a Shakespearean actor- no matter what is going on in your life, you block it out when it's time to train. You walk into the weight room and all else disappears. Worry about it later.
