Here is what you need for the apocalypse

Squatting and Deadlifts and Press and Sprints and Sparring(and maybe a Remington 870)
seriously, if you perform those things, you are ready for anything.
You can pick stuff up
You can throw stuff and carry it also
you can carry a human in trouble
you can chase somebody down and take stuff from them
You can run when someone is trying to eat you
You can fend off anything

All you need is a barbell, some weights, a hill to run up and someone to punch and kick. Do 1-2 of these things everyday. Stock up on canned food, Copenhagen, Evan Williams, Water and dog food. Include Cobalt's Gin and Ehg's Take as Needed for Pain and you are all set.

All About Being a Lifer

What's a Lifer? Someone who isn't in to something for just a day, a month, a year...it's for life. Whether its training or your family or your job...it doesn't matter. You work at it, you build on it, you see the big picture . You don't miss workouts because it means something to you. You are like a Shakespearean actor- no matter what is going on in your life, you block it out when it's time to train. You walk into the weight room and all else disappears. Worry about it later.
